WFHN researchers Katie Lawson, Kelly Davis, Susan McHale, Leslie Hammer, and Orfeu Buxton have published a study in the Journal of Family Psychology that examines whether positive work-to-family spillover can cross over to children in a positive way. The results of the study indicate that a mothers’ positive mood after work, on average, was directly related to youth reports of more positive affect, better sleep quality, and longer sleep duration.
